HUMANUM.OPENING TITLES
Humanum was a gathering of leaders representing the world’s religion at the Vatican, an inter religious colloquium on the complementarity of man and woman. It celebrates the ancient sacred union of the marriage and calls for action in putting families at the top of this century priorities. We were responsible for the overall graphic package of the project. Our open is the story of our quest through time & space as a species. Humanity's journey trying to find an answer in God and in each other. We got the chance to work again with our beloved “inks & liquids” and we’re very proud of the final result. Client was all the way incredibly supportive and was also very happy with the final outcome, so there's even the possibility that Pope Francis himself will send Totuma his blessings. Needless to say two of our business partners being catholics (Vlad & Cris) are "in heaven" :) On the other hand Hubert is an atheist, and if you know him a little or have seen his recent rainbow proud flag profile picture in Facebook you'll know why he disagrees with most of Humanum ideas, but hey, we unanimously disagree with everything “Honey Boo-Boo” stands for and regardless have done a lot of promos for TLC.
According to F. Scott Fitzgerald, “The test of a first rate intelligence is the ability to hold two opposed ideas in mind at the same time and still retain the ability to function.” If any, we think this has been, over the last 15 years Totuma’s strongest feature. We’re a family ourself and we respect and love each other even if we often disagree in a lot of things, but deep down we understand that our best ideas and projects will always come from the result of this complementary and enriched friction. At the end, regardless of our personal ideologies or differences, we have and will always try our best with every single project.
